For those experiencing homelessness, the struggle is immediate, often brutal, and deeply isolating. At Surabhi Vaaradhi Foundation, our Shelter For Homeless program is driven by a non-negotiable principle: every human being deserves a safe space, warmth, and the fundamental tools to rebuild their life. We intervene directly on the streets and in impoverished urban areas to provide not just temporary accommodation, but a vital link to sustenance, health, and a path toward reintegration.

Our commitment to stabilizing immediate living conditions has resulted in more than 20 dedicated support drives focused on restoring dignity and reducing the extreme vulnerabilities faced by the urban poor and street dwellers.

Our Impact: Direct Relief, Essential Needs Met

We provide specific, tangible resources that meet the most pressing needs of the homeless community:

Warmth and Safety for Street Children: We actively support the most vulnerable, such as students staying on the streets, by providing essential comfort. This includes distributing 40 blankets to students staying and studying at the Forum For Street Children.
Comprehensive Relief Kits: We provide extensive relief to urban poor families and shelter residents, handing over kits containing essentials like Dress, Slippers, Kirana, and Sanitary Items for places like the Shelter less Urban people’s home.
Life-Saving Food Support: Our distributions ensure that basic needs are met immediately. This includes essential items such as rice, wheat, pulses, oil, sugar, and soaps to shelterless communities and families who have lost their daily income.
A Stepping Stone to Stability: By providing a safe space with access to food, hygiene facilities, and basic healthcare, the program acts as a crucial stepping stone, stabilizing lives and helping beneficiaries regain autonomy and confidence.
